Our good friend and local tumblr superstar Ang Dezelske is battling (and kicking ass) cancer right now. Ang is a awesome woman, and I have had the pleasure of drinking beers with her on multiple occasions. I think the last time we got together at the CC Club she said to me So do you tell people you are the tumblr king of Hennepin County or something? This is a lady I want to help and I hope you do as well. How can you help? Read on.
Because she is so awesome, some friends of Ang have set up a Facebook page to help raise a little moolah for her and get their heads shaved in solidarity with her…

On August 25th, 2011, Ang was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a common form of breast cancer. Ang underwent a bilateral mastectomy to purge it and was cancer free by September 20th, 2011 (we hope).
Ang is currently doing a moderately aggressive chemotherapy schedule which should be completed by the end of this year. Chemo side effects are kicking in and her hair is starting to fall out. In order to beat chemo to the punch she is shaving her head on 11-02-11.

I am not a doctor, but the Mayo Clinic is located in Minnesota and I am pretty sure they released a study saying that following people battling cancer on tumblr helps speed the patient’s recovery time and drops a boatload of good karma on you.
